Angel Locsin, Binenta Ang Kanyang Kotse Para Makatulong Pa Sa Mga Kababayan Natin

As we all know, our funds right now are not enough for us to conduct mass testing in the country. Good thing, there are still some people who are doing their very best to extend help to their fellowmen. Also, celebrities are using their platform to help the aims of our government, which is to stop the virus from spreading more in our country.

One of them is Angel Locsin who really doing everything that she can do to help her beloved country. In just a span of weeks, the actress already raised over Php11M which she uses to buy tents for our frontliners. As a matter of fact, she already set up 246 tents to over 135 hospitals in the country.

But this time, Angel Locsin along with fellow celebrities are raising funds for the purchase of C0VID-19 testing kits to conduct mass testing in the poorer sectors in the country.

Because of this, Angel then decided to sell her 2015 Dodge Durango, one of her luxurious cars in the launch of her Shop and Share drive. The money that she will get from it will be directly given to the funds.

Though they already announced the fundraising event on their Instagram page, they still didn’t tell the specific date on when will they launch it.

Angel said on her IG post,
“We will officially launch SOON with some exciting pre-loved items from your favorite celebrities! Please visit to sign up for notifications when we go live!”

Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis will also join the project even though she is currently in Australia. Anne is set to sell her Chanel Cruise Boy North South Handbag 2019.

Along with Anne Curtis and Bea Alonzo, some celebrities also pledged to donate some of their personal items for auction, including Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo, Karla Estrada, Vice Ganda, Kim Chui, Liza Soberano, Bela Padilla. Jennilyn Mercado. Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes, Richard Gutierrez, Sarah Lahbati, and Coco Martin among others.

What can you say about this? Do you admire the generosity of the real-life Darna? Kindly share your comments, reactions, and thoughts with us.

To our friends and fellow artists, Hi. It’s been a while since we’ve done this — way back in 2009 in fact when we first put up Shop and Share to help those who were affected by Typhoon Ondoy. We had actors, singers and even basketball players donate personal items from designer bags, clothes, jerseys, jewelry, etc., and we auctioned them off on ebay, with all the proceeds going to the Philippine Red Cross. And, now, we humbly reach out again. These are hard times, truly frightening times for the Filipino people, especially with corona virus cases still on the rise. Many have been doing their part in trying to give hope or just to make each day easier for those who are in need. And the hard truth is they will remain in need as Covid-19 remains the invisible enemy amongst us changing our lives and sadly disrupting livelihoods. We would like to revisit the idea of artists coming together and helping those who need it the most. This time, with the funds we raise, we would like to purchase test kits and allow testing opportunities for the poorer sectors in the hopes of helping out in the efforts to provide mass testing in the country. Yes, in support of mass testing. Because in this way we can make a higher impact, by pushing the TEST-TRACE-ISOLATE/TREAT formula that is the only proven way to defeat the virus. If you are keen please do let us know. We do hope you can join us as we all work together to help flatten the curve in the Philippines in our little way. God Bless You, Team Shop & Share.
