She was born on December 16, 1933, in Denver Colorado, USA and her mother was an American named Mary Borrego while her father, Pedro Galla, was a Filipino. Even she was born in another country, the young Gloria grew up and studied in the Philippines.
The family had lived in Pangasinan so there she attended elementary school and graduated high school; At an early age, many were aware of Gloria’s beauty and charisma, so it’s no wonder that many say she entered the world of show business.

They were married on September 24, 1960, in the Sanctuary de San Antonio in Forbes Park, Makati and called it “Wedding of the Year.” They had a daughter and they named it Maritess. Gloria separated from her husband but returned again to her with a serious condition in which he has a stroke, and she cared for him until he pass3d away in 2015.
