Since March, Metro Manila and other parts of the country was in quarantine. Because of this, most of us are forced to stay at home. We can only go outside if we have something important to do outside, we are frontliners, we have legit businesses, or we are delivery riders.

During the quarantine, most of us are only depending on the delivery riders as we are also scared to go out due to the pandemic. But one day, when a Grab driver named Joshua Basa went around to the metro to deliver the orders of his customer, he didn’t notice that he already had a minor traffic violation. PCPL Sirjohn “Jon Jon” Nacino then stopped him upon seeing his violation and quickly apprehended Joshua.

Joshua Basa is a working student and he is really brave to go out and goes around to most parts of the metro for two months since the quarantine started. Joshua was very surprised by what the policeman did. Because instead of putting him in Jail, Jon Jon gave him $100. At first, Joshua declined to accept it.

He then took a photo of him and the kind policeman and quickly uploaded it to his social media accounts. The post quickly went viral and garnered positive reactions from the netizens. Some were very impressed by the kindness that Jon Jon showed to the young Grab driver.

According to the report from the GMA-7 News page, an anonymous person sent Php100K for Jon Jon as a reward for being such a kind policeman. The identity of the sender remained secret though the money was sent through the police station.

Aside from that, there is another video of the surprise for Jon Jon also goes viral online. In the viral video, you can be seen that the policemen couldn’t help but felt emotional because of happiness for getting such a big amount of money.

Netizens then expressed their happiness for the policemen and also showed their gratitude for his kindness.
