It has been almost 5 years since Lyca Gairanod admired by many people with her singing skills and talent and got the first season of “The Voice Kids Philippines Season 1, A search for Singing Sensation of the Kapamilya Network.
Before she came to stardom and popularity and joins the “The Voice Kids Philippines Season 1”, suffers to collect plastic bottles, newspapers, and other types of recyclable trash and scraps to help to sustain her families needs.
She was only at her young age of 9 when she joins on The Voice stage and sang the Aegis classic rock song “Halik” that make her be chosen by the Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo’s team. Her last major television appearance was when she joined the “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids” Filipino version.
From then on, she has not had several appearances on the Philippine television. On the other hand, according to her online activities and social media accounts, she is presently focusing on her studies. She also posted some music covers and vlogs on her Youtube Channel.
After bagging the Grand champion of “The Voice Kids Philippines” her life drastically changed from a poor young child to instant celebrity. Starts her dreams which is impossible to acquire but it is permitted by the Almighty. She now serves as her family’s breadwinner and at her young age of 13, she has already purchased a car and house for her family and siblings.
Lyca Gairanod has also highlighted on many Television shows in the Kapamilya Network such as “Hawak-Kamay”, “Maalaala Mo Kaya”, “Goin’ Bulilit”, “ASAP”, and “It’s Showtime”. She also appeared as a guest to various talk shows like “Umagang Kay Ganda”, “Rated K”, and “Gandang Gabi Vice”.
She already traveled to various parts of the world such as Australia and Hongkong to perform and show her talent once more. Her debut album titled “Puede Nang Mangarap” was out in the market last 2015 under the company MCA Music Inc.
She also received her first Awit Award for Best Performance by a Child for her rendition of Regine Velasquez “Narito Ako”.
