Matapos Malaman Ang Panliligaw, Tinawag Ni Fernando Carillo Si Korina Sanchez Sa Larawan Ng Isang Babaeng Filipina

Venezuelan actor Fernando Carillo recently left a message for the TV host and veteran broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez a few days after the latter admitted that she was once courted by Fernando.

Fernando Carillo played a role as the leading man of actress Thalia in the series “Rosalinda” which was aired in the Philippines in the year 2000.

The “Rosalinda” star left a heartfelt comment on the Instagram post of G3. Fernando first expressed his gratitude for all the support and love that was given to him by the Filipino people all throughout the years.

He also praises Korina and described the veteran broadcast journalist as an embodiment of what a Filipina is — empowered, independent, and intelligent.

Fernando wrote on the comments section,

“MY BELOVED PHILIPPINES. 4ever in my heart. MABUHAY. Thank you for so much love over the years. @korina is undoubtedly a TRUE lady and a real Filipino female example of what an empowered, independent and intelligent women, looks like. Salamat Philippines for so much love. Gracia.”

In an interview with Korina Sanchez recently, she admitted that she and Fernando dated but their blossoming relationship flinched as Korina flee away from the actor.

Korina shared,

“We dated pero walang nangyari. Not even a kiss. Nothing. Natakot ako. Fernando is such a darling but you have to be ready for him. Super gwapo, super sweet, pero I really ran away from him. And he remembers that.”

She added,

“Natakot ako. We had a date. And at the end of that date, nagkakaripas ako ng takbo papasok ng kotse ko to leave. Na-tense ako eh.”

Korina and Fernando first met in the early 2000s during the rise of the Venezuelan actor’s prominence because of the success of “Rosalinda” in the Philippines and other Asian countries.

Years later, the two once again reunited after Fernando visited Korina at the DZMM booth. He also made an appearance to the said radio show when he returns to the country in 2012.
