Sharon Cuneta, Pinasilip Ang Kaniyang Mala-Palasyong Bahay

Safety and privacy are the two most important things that people should think when they want to settle in a place. In the family home of Sharon Cuneta in Mandaluyong City, it’s easy to notice how much she values life without the showbiz limelight and away from the public’s eyes.

The Megastar considered herself a homebody. She prefers to spend her time at home spending time with her children, reading books, and watching television whenever she is free from her showbiz engagements. Having a beautiful house that is very homey and relaxing, it’s no wonder why she would choose to stay here than go out.

Front Door
Instead of using blinds or thick drapes, Sharon decided to use bamboo curtains which adds up to the cozy and homey vibe of the house. On both sides of the big main door are identical tables and cushioned chairs.

At the entrance of the house, the guest will be fascinated by the sunburst-and-cherub sculpture that Sharon brought in Paris. There is a console cabinet in the area and two chairs are placed on each side.

The staircase alone already shouting with class and elegance. It has wrought-iron railings and marble steps which adds up to the classic vibe of the house. The elevator can be found just a few steps from the round table holding the tall vase.

Art Collection
As Sharon loves both music and arts, she decided to build an area in the house where art and music meet. In this area, she has a huge framed music sheets. It can also be seen the mother-and-child painting by painter and priest, Fr. Armand Tangi. The El Dios Pan painting by Juan Luna defines the area. Sharon even went to Madrid to buy this painting for her friend, Claude Tayag.

Sharon personally chose the paintings and artworks displayed in her house. In one corner, there is a painting of hose carriages by Antonio Leano.

First Living Room
Sharon often welcomes her friends and guests in this area. There are light mocha seating pieces, paintings, and table lamps in the area which adds up to the relaxing and inviting vibe of the house.

The door near the television leads back to the foyer. Below the AC units are the sliding door which covers the storage for food. The house is very spacious and big that’s why there are doors and partitions in the house to secure the privacy of every area.

Second Living Room
The second living area welcomes guests with a neutral color. But the highlight of the area is red and orange colored decor pieces together with bright red pillows and curtains. Sharon mostly displayed in this area the souvenirs that she gets whenever she was traveling abroad.

There are two chairs placed on each side of the antique console table which has a rose carving features. This area also has paintings that hang on the wall, just like any other parts of the house. Some were painted by H. Stone, Mauro ‘Malang’ Santos’, and Anita Magsaysay-Ho.

Dining Area
Sharon brought the 12-seater dining table from the Paris weekend market. Even though the wood looks old, it still adds a unique feature in the area. There are big chandeliers that are hanging over the dining table. This came from Lovely Murano. In this area, there is a two painting from Fernando Amorsolo.

Powder Room
There is a separate powder room for the dining area. Marble partitions and light-colored glass were used in the area which identical to the powder room that we often see in a hotel.

Kitchen Area
This area is one of the most favorite places of Sharon in the house as she loved to cook and bake. The actress really made a good job buying the furniture of the area as it is full of first-class appliances. Near the microwave over was a dumbwaiter, a small elevator that is used to deliver food in every area of the house.

Outside Lounge Area
This area stands by the pool area. It is located on the ground floor of the house. It is a perfect place to have some minutes to enjoy relaxation or relieving stress while reading a book. Guests can also be entertained in this area as it is fully-furnished with different types of seating pieces.

Outdoor Pathway
This area connects two living areas of the house. It is surrounded by big and tall bamboo trees. A few more steps from this area and you can already get to the garden at the back of the house.

Swimming Pool
This area is both inviting and calming. The family often has a bonding together in this area as they can relax by just looking at the view of this part of the house.
