Tahong Vendor Sinauli Ang Tseke Na May Halagang 15 Milyon Pesos

It is really nice to see people doing good for other people during these trying times. Whenever we are reading a story about people giving kindness or showing honesty to other people gives us inspiration and motivation to do the same.

Just like this man who recently went viral online after returning a bag he found that contains a check worth of Php15 million.

The man was identified as Marlon Tanael, a tahong vendor.

Marlon could’ve taken the bag and look at the huge money inside of it. But he didn’t despite needing money too as he knew that the bag, as well as the things inside it, was not his. He didn’t even take a look at what’s inside the bag and just waited for its rightful owner to return to get the bag.

But after a few hours, the bag’s owner didn’t return to get the bag so he decided to take it home. The next day, Marlon then found out that the bag contains a brown envelope. The check was inside of it.

Through the Facebook page FUNdemic, Marlon called out the bag owner so he can return the check.

The tahong vendor wrote,

“Ang gusto ko pong mangyari ay mabalik po ito sa City Treasurer of Imus City kasi po bukal po ang kalooban ko na maibalik po itong malaking pera.”

Because of the said video, the municipality of Imus quickly contacted Marlon. The tahong vendor was successful return the bag to its rightful owner which is the Property Company of Friends, Inc.

According to the Facebook post of City Treasurer’s Office of Imus,

“The City Treasurer’s Office of Imus would like to express our deepest gratitude to Sir Marlon Tanael for finding and returning a Manager’s check worth 15 million. The check was later handed over to Sir Gramwil Mark Pango, a representative of Property Company of Friends, Inc.

“Again, Thank you sir! God bless and MABUHAY PO KAYO!”
